There are also no less than six golf courses that are situated within half an hour's drive from the town centre. The town is also making more of its cultural heritage and visitors can expect to experience regular craft markets where local artisans display and sell their produce.

Luxury retreats and lodges can be found just out of town and, for visitors looking for a personal touch, there is a wide selection of hosted bed and breakfasts to choose from. All in all Queenstown makes for a superb holiday choice.
